Stellantis Research Group visits UPC Manresa

This July, UPC Manresa welcomed researchers from the Centro Ricerche Fiat (C.R.F.), Stellantis' research center, who were interested in getting a first-hand look at the capabilities and research lines of our team.

During the meeting, projects related to bioleaching and the recovery of critical and high-value metals from lithium-ion batteries and electronic waste were presented. The visit also provided an opportunity to share knowledge and explore potential avenues for collaboration in the recovery and valorization of materials such as graphite and recovered copper.

This meeting strengthens the connection between university research and the industrial sector to advance toward more sustainable and circular recycling processes.
