UPC Manresa hosts Labday 2026

On July 7th, UPC Manresa celebrated Labday 2026, the annual meeting of laboratory technicians at the UPC.

The event brought together more than 90 laboratory technicians from all UPC campuses and teaching centers for a conference that began with a welcome address by the director of UPC Manresa, José Miguel Giménez, followed by remarks from the general manager, Francisco Javier Navallas, and the rector, Francesc Torres.

Afterward, participants recharged with breakfast in the school courtyard and then visited some of the most notable facilities, including TechLab Manresa, the Valentí Masachs Geology Museum, and various laboratories.

Finally, a presentation was delivered by Ricardo de la Vega, head of the UPC's Organizational Development Service (SDO), which focused on innovation proposals in the field of workshops and laboratories.

The objective of this gathering is to strengthen the community of technicians at the UPC and create formal spaces to share experiences, questions, and best practices, thereby promoting knowledge transfer.
