NEWLY ADMITTED STUDENTS

Before enrolment

Once you receive the welcome email from UPC, you must activate your account. You must do this before enrolling. You will find a screen asking for your ID (DNI) number or the email address you used during the pre-enrolment process (Accesnet).

Shortly after, you will receive an email to obtain your user credentials and password.

Once this process is complete, you will be able to log into e-Secretaria, the virtual platform through which you will access your academic record and all administrative procedures throughout your university life, and the rest of the UPC teaching intranets and services.

  Access e-Secretaria

From e-Secretaria you will need to:

        • Review and update your personal data (the personal email address must belong to the student themselves)
        • Modify, if necessary, your family address and your residence address during the academic year
        • Authorize the use of your personal data (GDPR) (it is mandatory to complete this requirement to proceed with enrolment)
        • Read and accept the academic integrity commitment to be able to start the enrolment process. It is valid for one academic year. It is a commitment that primarily implies the acceptance of ethical values: not to plagiarize, not to commit fraud, to act honestly and to respect the health protection measures implemented at UPC
        • Authorize the direct debit of tuition payments, if you choose this option (upload the SEPA mandate electronically signed by the account holder, or signed manually, scanned, and uploaded). Very important before enrolment.
        • Upload your photo to process your UPC card. The photo must be a front-facing portrait with eyes clearly visible and a plain white background. The aspect ratio (width/height) must be 0.82, and the minimum dimensions are 180 pixels wide x 220 pixels high. The minimum resolution must be 100 dpi. The file format must be JPG, GIF, or PNG. The UPC student card is digital. Check the info here

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Required documentation

  • If you have Spanish nationality, enrolment must be done using your DNI. The document number is already in our system since you must have used it for university pre-enrolment
  • If you are an international student, you must upload your valid passport and NIE to e-Secretaria before enrolment. (This step is mandatory to set up your academic record correctly)
  • All these documents must be valid at the time of enrolment
  • The documentation required to apply for disability discounts, gender-based violence, or victims of terrorism is considered sensitive and confidential, and cannot be sent by electronic means. For these cases, you may send the documentation by postal mail prior to enrolment (EPSEM Manresa - Gestió Acadèmica. Avda. Bases de Manresa 61-73, 08242 Manresa). Verification will be done a posteriori when the student presents the original documents at the school in person, or the student can request to perform the enrolment in person on the established enrolment days by providing the documentation.

Required documentation according to admission pathway

(1) In the case of an internal transfer (or simultaneous studies) within UPC, no documents are required. You must have completed the corresponding procedure at your original school, and the hosting school will perform the necessary checks in the system. In the case of a transfer from other universities, you must upload the proof of payment of the transfer (or simultaneous studies) fee to e-Secretaria (DOCUMENT SUBMISSION section) either prior to or after enrolment. The procedure and deadlines for uploading documentation are indicated on the schools' websites.

After enrolment

        • If you wish to request any change to your enrolment after completing it, you can submit an application via “E-Secretaria”. The deadline is September 15 for Bachelor's degrees and September 22 for Master's degrees.
        • The cancellation/withdrawal of subjects can be requested via “E-Secretaria” until October 31.

(Academic withdrawal from subjects does not entitle you to a refund of enrolment fees; it only removes the exam attempt)

        • The resolution of these requests will be issued through “E-Secretaria” and may involve an additional administrative fee for enrolment modifications, pursuant to UPC academic regulations.

        • If you need to provide supporting documentation for applications submitted through “E-Secretaria”, you must submit a Demana Ticket.
