Authorization and validation of the deposit by the director.

Currently, students must complete two parts to submit the TFE (TFG or TFM): the documentary deposit (done through AteneaTFE) and the administrative deposit (done through e-Secretaria).
For the administrative deposit, the key consideration is that the student will decide whether the TFE can be made public on UPCommons. It would be advisable to reach a consensus with them before they fill in this information

Reguarding  thedocumentary  deposit,directorsmustcomplete  two  steps:

1. Authorize the student's final submission in AteneaTFE.

2. Validate the TFE report once submitted so that it is officially considered deposited.

To do this, you must follow these steps:

  • Access the student's TFE course and click on the "Final Submission" section.

  • Once authorized, the student will be able to submit their report and TFE documents.

  • Once submitted, the director/co-director must access the "Final Submission" section again and review the deposited documentation. If deemed appropriate, validate the deposit (which is equivalent to authorizing its presentation). WARNING! Before validating the report, make sure that it contains an Abstract in English, in addition to the summary in the language of the report.

  • After clicking "Go to validation", two sections appear:
    • "Additional files for the Tribunal": You must save the director's report here. This section will only be accessible to the tribunal (not to the student) and is optional.
    • "Additional files for the student": You can save specific information related to the review of their work here. This section is optional.

  • To complete the validation of the TFE, it is essential to check the box with the phrase:
"I confirm that the files deposited by this student have been validated and that the tribunal can access them."
Then, click the "Validate final report" button

  • Once the validation button is clicked, it will be marked in green. This serves as confirmation that the TFE has been successfully validated.

  • The director can re-validate as many times as needed—for example, if they attach the report for the tribunal after the initial validation.
